Why Sharing
If you are interested in working with YDF, please fill the volunteer form available Here Sharing is a joy. More so, it has transformative power which can bring in positive social changes if harnessed properly. It is non hierarchical and has mutual stake on whatever is being shared. As a tool for change, it can ignite the selflessness, leadership and servitude mindset of the young change agents crucial for bringing the change they want to see in the society.

Why Youth
The reason being involving youth is to give leadership to such an effort. Youth is often a force best represented as vibrant, synergy, commitment and indomitable spirit. It is also a golden period for a man to inculcate the positive spirits for development of the society. The effort is to unite the youth before they identify themselves along the lines of Caste, Class, Religion and Gender. It is the right time their positive energy is channelized in efforts that have transformative power. Unless we invest in this stage for such a cause, we have to invest much more in addressing many issues that will emerge later on due to mutual conflict of interests and wrongful activities done among various group identified along the lines of division that develop subsequently.

Motivation behind the initiative
The motivation behind the initiative is the successful models and individual excellence displayed by the people in our own state. The series of interactions with youth activists, social entrepreneurs, experiments like Bakul and Joy of Giving have further strengthened the strategic thrust of the initiative taken.
It is a platform dedicated for engaging the young social workers in addressing various social problems and concerns thereby creating a band of barefoot workers working on different grass root initiatives. Come and join the movement and be the part of change already started.
