Some of the ongoing programmes of Youth Development Foundation are:

1. ADVOCACY FOR VIBRANT STATE YOUTH POLICY
YDF is part of Odisha RTI Coalition- a network of organizations, individuals working on issues of Right to Information in the state of Odisha. Having RTI Clinics in Mayurbhanj and Balasore districts of Odisha and working on urban poor in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack to bring in accountable governance.

2. YOUTH IN GOVERNANCE (YIG) PROGRAMME
YDF is working with the likeminded youth organizations of the state to continuously advocate for a vibrant youth policy aimed at the development of the Youth in Odisha. Involved youth cutting across political affiliations and submitted a manifesto on Youth participation in development process to different political parties before the last general election.

YDF offers fellowship program for young RTI workers to take up issues of governance.

As part of its commitment to have transparent and accountable governance, YDF is working with urban and rural governance issues including Citizen Report Card by involving the youth from universities, colleges and NGOs.

3. FORUM FOR YOUTH (FoY) CLUB
Encouraging youth of the state to combine and form Forum for Youth (FoY) to work towards creating a facilitating platform for realizing the aspirations of the youth.

Each village/block/town/institute/organization could have one or more FoY. YDF assists FoY in their pursuit. Depending on the interests of the members, each FoY would decide on its activities.

4. YUVA ABHIYAN-Association of Youth for Social Action
Association of Youth for Social Action (AYSA) is a platform of youth activists, development professionals and concerned individuals who envision a rational society and youth empowerment as the carriers of social transformation.

5. YFD PORTAL
Addressing Development Concerns through IT.

Youth for Development Portal (YfD portal) fulfills the aspiration of people concerned with development-be it young, old, rural, urban, literate and semi literate. An initiative to address many of the development concerns for sustainable and effective solutions.

6. JOY OF SHARING
Sharing is a joy. More so, it has transformative power which can bring in positive social changes. It ignites selflessness, leadership and servitude mindset of the young change agents crucial for bringing the change they want to see in the society.
It is a platform dedicated to engage the young social workers in addressing various social problems and concerns. Come and join the movement and be the part of change already started.

7. MAYURBHANJ PUBLIC SCHOOL
MPS is an innovative education model to create a not for profit social institution for providing inclusive, effective and quality education to rural poor.

Mayurbhanj Public School is a community initiative, where the community contributed its assets and actively participated to set up a local public school, in collaboration with YDF and Educate to Empower (E2E) Trust, Bhubaneswar.
